About 

Deneal Banks serves as the Executive Pastor at Freedom Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Licensed as a minister in 2013 and ordained as an Elder in 2021, she leads with faith, vision, and a heart for service.

She is the founder of Deneal Banks Ministries and The Bible & Brunch, both dedicated to empowering other through prayer, fellowship, and the Word of God. Beyond ministry, she actively leads community initiatives that reflect her passion for outreach and spiritual growth.

A proud graduate of Elizabeth City State University, Deneal holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Marketing. She is also a distinguished member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Rooted in a legacy of faith as the eldest daughter of Bishop Darryl and Overseer Dena' Banks, Deneal embodies servant leadership and purpose. Guided by her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ with strengthened ​me," she continues to honor God through every facet of her life and ministry.
